On April 7, I gave a presentation on regulatory perspectives on stablecoins at the Bank of North Dakota’s B3 Conference in Fargo, ND. We discussed how the history of money and banking — from pre-civil war free banking to Eurodollars to Libra to the GENIUS Act — have influenced regulatory approaches and stablecoin developments.
